Education
The Sukhaya Foundation is dedicated to providing comprehensive education to children and women, focusing particularly on preventing sexual abuse. Through our programs, we ensure that individuals are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, prevent, and respond to instances of sexual abuse effectively. By empowering them with education, we strive to create a safer environment where everyone can thrive without fear of exploitation or harm.
Awareness
Our organization is committed to raising awareness about the prevention of gender-based violence and the protection of women and children from abuse. We conduct community-wide initiatives to educate individuals about their sexual and reproductive health rights, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their well-being. By fostering awareness, we aim to address societal attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate violence and discrimination, fostering a culture of respect, equality, and safety for all.
Survival Support
At the Sukhaya Foundation, we extend our unwavering support to survivors of gender-based violence. We provide essential resources, including shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and medical care, to help survivors rebuild their lives and regain their autonomy. Our holistic approach emphasizes long-term support and empowerment, enabling survivors to overcome trauma and thrive beyond their experiences of violence
Capacity building
Through our capacity-building programs, we empower children and women to assert agency and take ownership of their lives. We provide them with opportunities for skill development, leadership training, and self-defense education, equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate challenges and reclaiming their rights effectively. By building their capacities, we foster resilience and empowerment, enabling individuals to lead fulfilling lives free from violence and oppression.
Empowering Women and Transforming Communities: The Inspiring Journey of Sukhaya Foundation
Determined to lead on her own terms and cherishing women’s leadership, she decided to establish the Sukhaya Foundation. Through this initiative, Sarika aims to empower girls and women by building their skills and confidence to recognize and combat gender-based violence. She seeks to empower them to navigate available mechanisms and create positive social change, particularly in areas such as education, women’s empowerment, sexual and reproductive health rights, and skill-building programs. Sukhaya Foundation, Amravati is a non-profit organization. It was established on 15 April 2022. Under Sec 8 company Act govt of India. Our mission is to empower people through education, empowerment, and skill-building programs. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged individuals and communities. The foundation was established in 2022 with the aim of creating positive social change in the areas of education, women empowerment, sexual and reproductive.
